- Banking and financial data
During an order, Payline or Alma, our banking service providers collect and process personal data concerning your means of payment (credit card number, expiry date of the credit card, visual cryptogram, the latter not being kept, etc.).
To secure data during online payment, The Cool Republic uses advanced encryption techniques such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL is a standard protocol that ensures the secure exchange of data. All data provided by the Customer during the order process will be subject to encryption by The Cool Republic.

In the course of its business, The Cool Republic may be required to disclose personal data only to persons connected with the operation of the site (logistics, marketing and technical subcontractors and providers of means of payment or payment security).
How long will The Cool Republic retain your Personal Information?
Your personal data concerning your member profile as you have declared and/or completed on the site, as well as those concerning your browsing and/or behaviour on the site and the promotional announcements that are distributed to you on the site are kept for a period of three (3) years from your last activity on the site or on an electronic communication medium (in particular an email) of The Cool Republic as a member. At the end of this period, your member profile is considered "inactive" and will be automatically deactivated. You will need to create a new profile for a new Order.

Your personal data in relation to an Order on the site (surname, first name, product or service, delivery address, billing address, etc.) are kept for a period of three (3) years from the date the Order is made. We can delete them at any time upon your request.
